However, please keep in mind that the customer is responsible for any additional fees or taxes (VAT, etc)
The customer is also responsible for knowing their own laws and assumes all risk if the knife is confiscated at customs.

Check out the Knife Care Guide here. If I had to boil it down to one sentence: Keep it dry and out of the dishwasher.

Don’t panic! If your carbon steel knife has started to change color, it’s just developing its patina. Over time your knife will develop a grayish-blue protective coating that will protect it from further corrosion. Of course, if you don’t like the look, you can always get rid of it.

I recommend water stones or a local professional sharpening service. Feel free to contact me if you want stone recommendations or links to good sharpening videos.
If you bought the knife from me, you can always send it back for sharpening if you cover the cost of shipping to and from the workshop.

That’s not really a question… but while I can’t say for certain that I’ll never make a sword, I can say that for the time being I’m focusing only on kitchen knives.

Due to the custom or one-off nature of handmade knives, returns are generally not accepted.
However, I want you to feel good about your purchase, so if there is a workmanship defect or you are unsatisfied with your knife, please contact me and we’ll figure something out.
